North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has recently been seen with his daughter Ju Aye at various public events. Kim is believed to be introducing the daughter to the public as the country’s heir in the coming days. Kim Jong Un is going to hand over power in Pyongyang to the third generation of his family. Meanwhile, a closed-door meeting of South Korea’s parliamentary committee was held on Thursday, January 5. The country’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) told reporters that Kim was trying to get a sense of public sentiment by bringing his daughter to the public.
The NIS also said that Joo A is the first of Kim’s children. Joo Aye’s public appearance with his father does not mean he will be Kim’s successor. According to South Korean media, Kim has three children. The first child was born in 2010, the second in 2013 and the third in 2017.
